Transform Your Dog's Behavior with Off The Grid K9's

Our quaint facility is nestled on our 32 acre property in Rhinelander Wisconsin. To ensure each dog gets the proper time and care they need, we only accept a few dogs at a time. This isn't your standard kennel facility, this is your dogs home away from home. During your dog's stay with us, they are cared for diligently and are under 24/7 camera surveillance to ensure their safety. 

Resource guarding? Reactivity? Aggression? Our behavioral consultation is ideal for dogs that are displaying problematic behavior. We will work with you to identify the underlying causes of your dog's behavior and develop a personalized training plan that is tailored to your dog's needs. Don't underestimate the importance of a solid foundation! Having basic obedience establishes clear communication between you and your dog, may help you void potential behavioral issues, and will help you manage your dog's behavior more effectively in various situations. Our basic obedience board and train is a 4 week long program where your dog comes to stay with us! During your dogs 4 week stay they will learn sit, down, heel, recall and a "place" command.

• Length: 4 weeks 
• 2 private lessons (one at the 2 week mark, one before they go home) to teach the client how to operate their dog.

Our intermediate obedience board and train includes everything in our "basic obedience" package and then some! Your dog will be immersed in training for 6 weeks. During their 6 week stay we will teach sit, down, heel, recall, place, look (eye contact), an "out" command (drop it). Let us help you get a jumpstart on training!

Our behavioral & specialty board and train was designed help dogs with existing behavioral issues (reactivity, resource guarding, ect.) or who are in need of specialty training services (service dog concepts, therapy dog training, etc.). For this program your dog will have a minimum of a 6 week stay here at Off The Grid K9. If you believe your dog is behavioral, please contact us to assess your dog prior to its stay.

• Included (6 commands): sit, down, recall, heel, place,  and "out" 
• Length: minimum of 6 weeks 
• 2 private lessons (one at the 3 week mark and one before they go home, and one in home session for behavioral dogs so the client is comfortable managing and operating the dog in the home environment.
